We can lighten any flywheels to be used in a scout engine and can modify the wheels for any connecting rod type that the racer or hobbyist desires. Could be titanium rods as shown,or S+S, KR or WL, XL. The PIC shows a set Of Bob Nichols Scout titanium rods which are a monoque design manufactured from a billet ot titanium. The flywheels were smoothed down on the sides to help with the oil rope getting down the sides as evidenced in early experiments run by Sam Pierce and Reid Greer. Reid informed that too smooth is going the other direcxtion so we opted for this intermediate treatment
